The Mission of the Foundation is to teach the history of the battle of Iwo Jima, and remember the men who fought and died there, especially the 100 from Connecticut. We educate others about the history of WWII and promote, instill and invigorate a sense of awe, patriotism and pride, by honoring all branches of the military. We also insure the proper care and maintenance of the Iwo Jima Memorial Monument and Park.
