Q: What is the Ion Bank Foundation Community Awards Program?
A: The Community Awards Program allows Ion Bank customers to vote for their favorite charity to help us give away $100,000. The Ion Bank Foundation will donate $25 to each non-profit organization for every vote received up to $100,000.

Q: Which organizations can qualify to receive a grant?
A: Any local non-profit organization that has a current 501(c)(3) certificate, or equivalent and agrees to spend the grant money on local needs. Eligible organizations will be asked to provide proof of their non-profit status.

Q: Do organizations need to enroll to participate?
A: Yes, non-profit organizations need to enroll to qualify. The organization must be located in, or serving residents of, CONNECTICUT: Hartford County, Litchfield County, New Haven County, OR NEW JERSEY: Morris County, and agree to spend any funds received locally.

Q: How do Ion Bank customers vote?
A: It’s simple! Vote online at ionbank.com. Only one vote per customer, however, for accounts with multiple owners, each owner may vote. Customers with multiple accounts may only vote once. Each customer can vote for only one organization.

A: Ion Bank is committed to the communities we serve, which is the reason the Ion Bank Foundation was created. As a leading corporate citizen, we believe that it is our responsibility to help make our communities better. We also value the opinions of our customers so we want you to help us give away $100,000 by voting for your favorite non-profit organization.
